The Language Tree offers translation services across a wide range of subjects. We work with a global network of carefully screened and vetted independent translators with proven proficiency in their language pairs and subject matters. 

Our document translation services include  a broad range of industries and languages, for over a dozen file types.  Upon completion of the translation, editing and proofreading process, our quality assurance team will return deliver accurate, complete and safe files.

We offer notarization, authentication and apostille of our translations when required for legal, academic, immigration, employment, and international use.

The Language Tree provides audio or video transcription services from and into Spanish (all Latin America regions and Spain), Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese. We work with taped meetings, interviews, phone calls, room bugs, wired body microphones, video surveillance, foreign TV, and any other audio recording.

Our transcriptionists have been selected through a strict screening process that includes testing and insuring adequate experience.  All of our independent linguists and transcriptionists are bound by confidentiality agreements.  The Language Tree adheres to confidentiality and security standards and follows all law enforcement chain-of-custody requirements.

The Language Tree is works with a group of independent, multilingual video editors, reporters and voice talents to provide broadcast-quality subtitling, voice-overs and captioning of TV programs, commercials, e-learning courses, video and cinema productions.  

Adapting subtitles combines the skills of a creative film editor and a translator because it requires a sensible level of precision to adapt and paraphrase with accuracy the original meaning within the relevant screen frames, in a manner that would allow the audience to read and capture the visual message simultaneously. Our subtitling services includes a broad selection of fonts, effects, textures and colors.

The Language Tree Multilingual Formatting or Desktop Publishing team can layout documents in any language while maintaining the visual impact intended in the source language, including multi-byte character languages such as Chinese, Korean and Japanese, or right-to-left languages such as Arabic or Hebrew. Document translation can have a substantial effect on the graphical layout. For example, documents translated from English into French or Spanish, often expand in word count and require more space or smaller font size, German and Russian words can be dozens of characters long, requiring re-sizing of graphics; Middle Eastern languages, such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi change the order of layout because they are written right to left; Character-based languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, require language-specific versions of standard publishing programs.

We work with a variety of operating systems and multilingual graphics and publishing software.
